Participate in career networking events or speak on a panel. Offer career advice through the Tufts University Career Network, a LinkedIn group featuring +16,000 alumni from each of the university's seven schools who have volunteered to share their career advice and experiences with Tufts students and fellow alumni.
Professional Development Fund and Dress for Impress Fund for Students: Help us help Tufts students who are in need of professional dress for job, internship and graduate school interviews. Students will be provided gift certificates to buy interview attire or related supplies.  Each year, arts, sciences, and engineering students travel to professional conferences, both within the United States and abroad, to present their research to colleagues in their respective fields and/or to network with professionals. The cost of travel, accommodations and registration fees can be cost prohibitive for a growing number of Tufts students. This fund will help underwrite small travel grants to support students.  Company logo and name will appear on all promotional materials.
Internship Grant Awards ($4000/per award): 90% of the Tufts Class of 2017 participated in at least one internship during their time on campus (72% complete two or more). In several industries it is still the practice to offer unpaid internships, which creates barriers for a number of Tufts students.  The Career Center funds over 50 undergraduate students each summer doing unpaid internships for a minimum of 300 hours. These funds offer students the opportunity to explore career fields and gain experience. Selected students will receive $4,000. Consider supporting one or more students participating in unpaid internships.
Professional Development Fund for Alumni:  The Tufts University Alumni Association supports alumni professional development.  An average award of $500 is available to Jumbos looking to pursue career growth through conference registration, membership dues, certifications, training, and other activities.
