Support Students & Alumni

If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities to support students and alumni, please contact Greg Victory, Executive Director, Tufts Career Center.

  • Professional Development Fund for Students ($2,500, multiple sponsors): Each year, arts, sciences, and engineering graduate students travel to professional conferences, both within the United States and abroad, to present their research to colleagues in their respective fields and/or to network with professionals. The cost of travel, accommodations and registration fees can be cost prohibitive for a growing number of Tufts students. This fund will help underwrite small travel grants to support students.

  • Professional Development Fund for Alumni ($3,500, multiple sponsors): This fund, newly established for Fall 2017, will help underwrite professional activities for alumni. The Tufts University Alumni Council initiated the Fund and is providing the sponsorship.

  • Internship Grant Awards ($3,500/per award): 89% of the Tufts Class of 2016 participated in at least one internship during their time on campus (66% complete two or more). In several industries it is still the practice to offer unpaid internships, which creates barriers for a number of Tufts students.  The Career Center funds over 50 undergraduate students each summer doing unpaid internships for a minimum of 350 hours. These funds offer students the opportunity to explore career fields and gain experience. Selected students will receive $3,500. Consider supporting one or more students participating in unpaid internships.

  • Dress to Impress Fund ($5,000, only one sponsor): Help us help Tufts students who are in need of professional dress for job, internship and graduate school interviews. Students will be provided gift certificates to buy interview attire or related supplies. Company logo and name will appear on all promotional materials.
