High School Students

English Today High School Program 

Ages (15-17)

As part of the English Today High School program, you will build your English language skills through weekday classes and weekend cultural excursion activities. You will live on the Tufts campus in a college dorm and learn about the college experience in the US. The afternoon and weekend excursions include visits to local universities, museums and recreational sites where you will become more fully acquainted with American culture and develop the confidence to use your improved English language skills.

Program Costs

Application Fee - $65, collected at time of application

Tuition Deposit - $100, collected at the time of application
This deposit is deducted from the total tuition cost, but is not refundable if you choose to withdraw your application.

English Today High School Program Fee - $4,500
The all-inclusive fee includes tuition, housing in a double room, meals, airport transfers, travelers health insurance, and many activities.

Optional Afternoon Workshop - $400

Refund Policy
If you choose to withdraw from the program between June 15 and the start of your program we offer an 80% tuition refund.

Program Curriculum

English Language Class

English Today High School Student classes meet weekday mornings from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. In the class, you will learn to strengthen your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a small, personalized classroom environment. Our teachers utilize interactive and engaging in-class activities to help you build your English skills.

(Optional) Afternoon Workshop

English today High School students are invited to participate in our optional workshop program for an additional fee. The workshop meets in the afternoon and provides students with additional English language preparation activities. Students who choose this option will not participate in the afternoon excursions in Boston on workshop days.

Program Activities

Extracurricular Activities

Most afternoons and each weekend you can participate in off-campus excursions to Boston and the surrounding neighborhoods. Residential Counselors lead trips to local beaches,  museums, shopping outlets, historical sites, and community events as well as organize on-campus sports activities. There are always lots of activities to keep busy when your not studying.
