Report an Incident

Tufts is committed to fostering an environment where every member of our community feels respected and safe. By the same token, every member of our community  plays an essential role in our ability to uphold this commitment.

Our Non-Discrimination Policy prohibits discrimination against and harassment of any student, employee, applicant for employment, third party, or community member on the basis of race; color; national or ethnic origin; age; religion; disability; sex; sexual orientation; gender; gender identity and expression, including a trans identity; genetics; veteran status; retaliation; and any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law.

We rely on every community member to help maintain a supportive academic, residential, and professional environment for our diverse population. The University has a reporting system for incidents that violate the Non-Discrimination Policy. If you feel you have information about any possible violation of our Non-Discrimination Policy, we encourage you to report the incident. 

Make a Report

We take any allegation  that the Non-Discrimination Policy has been violated seriously. If you feel that you have information about  a situation that may constitute such an incident, please report it in one of the following ways.

1) Report via EthicsPoint

Tufts University has an anonymous and confidential reporting system, EthicsPoint, which is available to anyone who would like to submit information about an incident or bring a concern to the attention of the University. EthicsPoint can be used to report an incident of sexual misconduct or discrimination. All such reports are reviewed by the Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO).

2) Contact the Tufts University Police Department

If this is an emergency, please call the TUPD emergency line at 617-627-6911.
The Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) investigates allegation of criminal misconduct and, in some cases, violations of University policy. TUPD will collect information about the incident, conduct any appropriate investigation, and refer the incident to appropriate offices within the University.
