What do you do as an intern at this organization?

I organize the editorial calendar and write blog content for a website that AdHarmonics runs. I work with other teams within the company (for example, User Experience and Business Development) to create copy. I also manage the site's social media properties and analyze the success and reach of the content.

How did you find this internship?

A mentor and employee of AdHarmonics recommended that I apply.

What do you enjoy most about your internship?

I enjoy being able to get creative with my work while also seeing its concrete impacts. AdHarmonics also emphasizes fun, which I really appreciate. I love the atmosphere that AdH'ers create in the office.

What do you find challenging?

I'm often unsure what my boundaries are—as an intern and as a content creator. When you're working on a project that's new to you as well as to the company, at times it can feel like walking in the dark.

What advice would you offer to someone who wants to make the most of an internship like yours?

Keep an open mind when it comes to defining your tasks and your role. I got exposure to other parts of the company by collaborating with teams whose projects were not necessarily in my job description. Confidently offer your help and you'll be rewarded, with a new experience and with gratitude.    Keep an open schedule, as well. Saying yes to eating lunch with coworkers or to outside-the-office activities can help you form better relationships in the office.
