What do you do as an intern at this organization?

I use Jenkins to automate the build process of the software we make. This involves writing scripts to update the version numbers, compile the source code, create the installers, and move it to the product library.

How did you find this internship?

Jumbo Jobs, Indeed

What do you enjoy most about your internship?

All the employees are great to work with, and it's a very relaxed environment. I received a major project shortly after beginning, and it has lasted the whole summer so far.

What do you find challenging?

Some of the steps in the build process were very difficult to automate, as they included installing/uninstalling programs and complicated changes to files.

What advice would you offer to someone who wants to make the most of an internship like yours?

Be yourself at the Meet & Greet with potential interns, and make sure you prepare for the interview (it's helpful to know languages other than the ones listed in the position details, like JavaScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS). Once you begin working, don't hesitate to ask for more to do if you aren't busy enough.
