What do you do as an intern at this organization?


  1. Provide flow and chemical reactor design assessments, air quality information collection, and general environmental analysis. 


How did you find this internship?


  1. Tufts Fall career fair. It is mostly for seniors, but if you ask around enough, many companies are willing to take intern applications early--a good way to get your foot in the door. 


What do you enjoy most about your internship?


  1. I am doing actual chemical engineering analysis, with a great deal of independence. 


What do you find challenging?


  1. There are many people with very different jobs all working together. It is often a challenge to find the right person to talk to, or how to best approach them, but the experience in this is very valuable. 


What advice would you offer to someone who wants to make the most of an internship like yours?


  1. Apply early, application deadlines are late October/early November. Pick a company that does interesting things, and you won't have to manufacture interest in your work, it'll come naturally.
