Job description:
Given the scarcity I am offering a $500 bonus after first month and $750 bonus after 6 months.

We are seeking an after school caregiver for our second and fifth grader in Somerville. Ideally we would like Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:30-6:00 and Tuesday/Thursday 2:30- 5:00 with the occasional Wednesday noon time pick up for half days. However, we have flexibility. If you need more hours we could include a weekend night out too. Reach out if you can do between 3-5 days beginning at 2:30pm. If you can’t do the half days or five days or need to end each day at 5:00 we can likely figure it out as long as the schedule is consistent and doesn’t change week to week.

My kids are older, this job is about picking them up safely from school and giving them opportunities to have fun with friends or activities while we work. I can connect you to previous caregivers so you can learn about us as a family too.

This person will have a car or feel comfortable driving mine. Responsibilities include: driving, taking kids to play dates and scheduled activities, hosting and supervising play dates, overseeing homework. You must be reliable, responsible and connect me to references that validate your good judgement. Additionally you must be vaccinated and a non-smoker. If you have your own car I am willing to give a travel stipend of $10 per week on top of the $25 per hour wage. My kids have had babysitters their whole life and are used to respecting a caregiver beside their parent. There is no housework, rather you will be encouraging them to do their chores in the house. Kids love soccer, being creative, having fun and love snacks.

Job description:
Hi there, We are looking for a fully vaccinated student in a low-COVID-risk living situation to help pick up my older child (almost 5yo) from preschool on Thursday afternoons and stay with him for about an hour until my wife is able to get out of work. This would likely mean hanging out at a playground, visiting the library, or walking from his preschool to his little sister's daycare (both located in Somerville). His preschool is very close to the Tufts campus. Sporadic weekend babysitting, with flexible timing, would also be great. Please reach out if you'd like to connect further! Warmly, Alli

Job description:
Hi all - looking for some afternoon help in Cambridge with our 2.5yo daughter. Details below!

Hours: M-F, 2:30/3 - 5:30pm for the school year. Happy to explore a shorter-term (thru December) agreement. Flexible on start day, but somewhere middle/end of September.

Wage: $28-$30, depending on experience, through a payroll service.

Benefits: Guaranteed hours, 10 days PTO, federal holidays off, ability to add more hours for date nights/school closures as mutually agreed upon.

Duties: Wake up 2.5yo from her nap, prep/give her a snack, lead “clean up time” (help her put away her toys) at the end of the day.

COVID: Looking for someone who is fully vaccinated, COVID-conscious, and willing to wear a mask inside. We’ll also wear a mask when we’re in the same room as you - the only one maskless will be the kiddo.

About us: We're a family of three near Danehy Park in Cambridge - less than a mile to the Alewife T stop and very close to several bus stops. Our 2.5yo loves playgrounds (and climbing equipment that is way too big for her), singing Daniel Tiger songs, and acting out scenes from Frozen.
