Teletherapy Resources

Telehealth (including telemental health or teletherapy) is a rapidly growing field that involves the use of technology to deliver healthcare services. It is designed to provide access to care that can be delivered when and where it is convenient for you. The services described below connect students with licensed mental health professionals who are available via phone and/or video. If you need a private space for your teletherapy appointment, please log into Reserve Tufts to see which spaces may be available..

CMHS partners with HealthiestYou to provide students with access to telemental health care. Your HealthiestYou therapist will work with you to make sure the sessions are arranged to fit your schedule.  (Please be sure to note the disclaimer below.)

HealthiestYou

Students on the student health insurance (UnitedHealthcare StudentResources, abbreviated as UHCSR) have free access to mental health care via phone and/or video through HealthiestYou, a national telehealth service. Students can connect nationally and internationally with a licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatric clinician for free. Students will be able to choose their provider, schedule appointments (available 7 days a week), and receive ongoing support from the same provider.

  • All services are covered 100% for students on the student health insurance (UHCSR) plan. Please visit this FAQ page for more information on HealthiestYou's virtual counseling.
  • Students on the UHCSR insurance plan who are interested in connecting with a therapist or psychiatrist for free can download the HealthiestYou App via App Store or Google Play or at www.telehealth4students.com.
