Space Reservation

Reserve Tufts allows the Tufts community to schedule the rooms and resources necessary for successful meetings, conferences, and other scheduling needs on the Medford and Boston campuses. Tufts staff, faculty and students can use this service to:

  • Request rooms and resources

  • Review availability of rooms by:

        - Campus/location
        - Seating capacity
        - Room configuration
        - AV equipment

New for the 2020 - 2021 Academic Year

Normally, students are able to reserve study space in Tisch Library, however, this academic year we expanded the number spaces that can be reserved for studying and other student needs. Students who are members of registered student organizations will continue to be able to reserve space for their organization’s in-person meetings of 10 or fewer people.

All academic buildings will have classroom spaces available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The buildings listed below will have spaces available for extended hours as noted. Students are strongly encouraged to reserve these spaces in advance through Reserve Tufts by selecting the “Spring 2021 Student Spaces” request template. Keep in mind that you may submit one reservation at a time, for no more than three hours. Additionally, students should be mindful that classes may be in the space before or after your reservation and therefore you should be mindful of your reservation time, disposal of trash, and sanitizing the space before the reservation ends. Under no circumstances may students rearrange furniture, gather in groups of more than 10, or exceed the posted de-densified capacity of the reserved space. Failure to comply with these guidelines, as well as other university guidelines, may jeopardize your space reservation permissions.

The following buildings will now be open Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tisch Library hours are available online and the Mayer Campus Center will continue to be open for the posted hours on their websites.

How to Use Reserve Tufts 

Faculty, staff, and recognized TCU organization delegates can log into the Reserve Tufts using their Tufts username. Help tools can be found online.

Other Campus Spaces

  • Department Scheduled Spaces lists spaces and scheduler contact information for spaces not reserved via the Space and Resource Reservation System.

Event Registration

Certain spaces on campus require approval from the Event Registration Committee. Once your space request has been submitted through ReserveTufts, you must complete the Event Registration Form on JumboLife in order to secure the requested space. Should the committee have additional questions about your event, you may be invited to a virtual Event Registration meeting, which takes place on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Read more about Event Registration or contact if you have any questions about this process.
