Reserve Space on Campus

Reserve Tufts allows the Tufts community to schedule the rooms and resources necessary for successful meetings, conferences, and other scheduling needs on the Medford and Boston campuses. Tufts staff, faculty and students can use this service to:

  • Request rooms and resources
  • Review availability of rooms by:
    • Campus/location
    • Seating capacity
    • Room configuration
    • A/V equipment

How to Use Reserve Tufts

Faculty, staff, students and recognized TCU organization delegates can log into the Reserve Tufts using their Tufts username. You can find help tools online. For spaces that require approval, please allow up to two business days (may be longer during peak periods or university breaks) for confirmation.

If you have specific questions about a room, or want to check on the status of a request, please reach out to the point-of-contact (POC) for the space. This contact information can be found be clicking on the room name, selecting the tab for "Room Details", and viewing the Notes section.

Undergraduate Study Spaces

Undergraduate students are able to reserve study space in Tisch Library and select buildings around campus, during the academic year. Students are strongly encouraged to reserve these spaces in advance through Reserve Tufts by selecting the “2024 Study Spaces” request template. Please be mindful of your reservation time, disposal of trash, and sanitizing the space before the reservation ends. Additionally, if you no longer need your reserved space, be sure to cancel the booking, so that others may view the accurate availability and utilize as needed. Failure to comply with these guidelines, as well as other university guidelines, may jeopardize your space reservation permissions. Keep in mind that you may submit one reservation at a time, for no more than three hours.

Tisch Library hours are available online and the Mayer Campus Center will continue to be open for the posted hours on their websites.

Student Organization Event Registration

Student organization requests for on-campus spaces are made in Reserve Tufts by the designated student organization scheduler. Student organizations designate their Reserve Tufts person through the organization’s JumboLife page annual registration process. Certain spaces on campus require approval from the Event Registration Committee. Once your space request has been submitted through ReserveTufts, you must complete the Event Registration Form on JumboLife in order to secure the requested space. Should the committee have additional questions about your event, you may be invited to an Event Registration meeting. Read more about Event Registration or contact ocl@tufts.edu if you have any questions about this process.
