Kenmore- Harvard Vanguard Health Center (SMFA Students Only)

Students are able receive their primary care through Atrius Health, at the Kenmore-Harvard Vanguard 133 Brookline Ave. location, a full service primary care site.  If you have the student health insurance you will be charged a $20 co-pay or a 15% coinsurance for xrays, labs and other ancillary services. If you do not have school insurance you can use the Kenmore-Harvard Vanguard Health Center and pay at the time of your visit or go to another provider who will accept your insurance. Check the website of your insurance company (Blue Cross, for example) to find an approved list of area providers. Please remember to identify yourself as an SMFA student when you register with the health center on the phone or in person.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We are open on holidays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., during the academic year when dorms are open (Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day, Veterans Day, Presidents Day, Patriots Day).

During the Summer

Regular Summer Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday- 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(closed 12 to 1 p.m. for lunch)
*regular Academic schedule resumes on Aug 28th

Clinical Lab Hours

Monday, Tuesday and Thurday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed for lunch 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • If you are having a mental health emergency and want to talk with someone, call the Tufts Police at 617-627-3030 and ask to speak with the counselor on-call. Tufts Counseling and Mental Health Service is on call 365 days a year.
