The Tufts Career Center supports AS&E and SMFA undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni as they pursue empowering and meaningful work. We are committed to helping all our Jumbos pave their own career readiness pathways and reach their personal career goals.
We offer an array of engaging career development opportunities, including one-on-one advising, workshops, career fairs, academic courses, networking opportunities, and other resources. In addition, we infuse the principles of diversity, equity, and equality into our work and strive to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment that serves the needs of students and alumni of all identities, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
Career Advising
Our career advising team works with students in both in 1-on-1 appointments and first come, first served Career Labs and Drop-Ins. We discuss everything from self-assessment and career exploration to resume and cover letter writing, networking, job and internship searches, interviewing, and applying to graduate or professional school.
Career Communities
Career Communities help students explore their interests and connect to potential opportunities. Whether you are reflecting on options, researching career paths, or applying to jobs, internships, or grad school – we have resources and advisors to support you.

Parents & Families
Parents play a supportive role in their student’s career decisions. Whether near or far, you can show support during your student’s journey to self-discovery and career decision-making. The Career Center partners with parents and families to encourage students as they explore careers and gain experience.
