Health Fund

We understand that good health is essential during your time at Tufts and that the costs to maintain good health can be prohibitive. Eligible undergraduate students are qualified to receive the following amounts on a reimbursement basis with receipts.

A combined total of $500 during your undergraduate years at Tufts for:

• Medical co-pays
• Dental fees (Cosmetic procedures are excluded)
• Vision fees and expenses including prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses

A combined total of $300 per academic year for:

• Mental health co-pays
  • Please note that once an academic year has ended, any unused funds will be erased.

Eligibility and Deadlines

The Health Fund is designed to support currently enrolled undergraduate students (with a family contribution of $10,000 and below) during the Fall and Spring semesters. To strengthen the eligibility of your request, please keep the following in mind.

• Expenses must be incurred while you are enrolled in on-campus classes during the current academic semester, defined as the period from the first day of classes to the last day of classes in the Fall or Spring.
• Any receipts for reimbursement must be submitted for consideration before the last day of classes for the semester in which the expense occurred.
• A PaymentWorks account is required to receive funding.
  • If you have an account, please make sure that your preferred payment method is up to date.
  • Students who do not have an account will be invited to register.
• International students are also required to submit a current Foreign National Information Form.

Submitting a request does not guarantee financial support. All applications are subject to a thorough review process based on eligibility, the strength of supporting documentation, demonstrated need, and the availability of funds. Due to limited resources, not all requests will be approved.

Late submissions made after the last day of classes cannot be processed. We encourage all students to plan ahead and reach out with any questions well before the last day of classes.
