Nandi Bynoe
Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion
Nandi Bynoe is the Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion and leads the division of Student Diversity and Inclusion for the Schools of Arts & Sciences and Engineering. The division of Student Diversity and Inclusion includes the six centers: Africana Center, Asian American Center, FIRST Resource Center, Latino Center, LGBT Center, and Women’s Center. Both individually and collectively, the Centers seek to promote understanding, community, and belonging across the Tufts communities in concert with the wider division. Dean Bynoe works on issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity across a student’s Tufts experience, from matriculation to graduation.
Dean Bynoe is a double Jumbo, receiving her B.A. in International Relations and her M.A. in Educational Studies from Tufts. Prior to her current role, Dean Bynoe worked in Student Services and held roles in Student Affairs as the first Sexual Misconduct Resource Specialist with the Center for Awareness, Resources and Education, and then as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.
