To provide a comprehensive thriving environment for underrepresented students where they can hold up their dreams and be delegates of equity and justice in the STEM Field.

BEST Mission

Our mission is to retain and graduate underrepresented, first-generation college students, and students from high schools and regions of the country with low representation by expanding STEM access within the Tufts School of Engineering. We provide the support, resources, and opportunities necessary for BEST scholars to excel academically and socially throughout their four-year experience within the greater Tufts community.
