Personal Statement Essay

English Academic Skills Program applicants are required to complete an essay that has been chosen from the 2020 - 2021 common application. This should be completed by the applicant and this essay is only reviewed by the Program Support Team of the English Academic Skills Program to evaluate your interest and writing ability so the Academic Support Team can better tailor their lessons toward your needs. Here is this year's question:

"Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?"
