Academic Advising and Undergraduate Studies
Our teams assist you in the pursuit of undergraduate degrees, in exploring research and scholarship opportunities, and when applying for professional degrees.
Athletics

Office for Campus Life
The Office for Campus Life at Tufts University seeks to build community and inspire the growth of the whole student through a support system of guidance, compassion, service, and leadership.
Located in the Mayer Campus Center, fosters the growth and development of students in the areas of leadership and self-governance, and assists students in planning and coordinating a broad range of social, cultural, and educational programs.
CARE
CARE’s mission is to provide free, confidential, culturally-supportive, and trauma-informed support to all Tufts undergraduate and graduate students impacted by sexual misconduct/harm and to create a culture of respect, consent, and community accountability.
Career Center
The Career Center's mission is to foster transformational experiences that shape the lifelong professional, academic and personal development of Tufts students and alumni.
Community Standards
The Dean of Students Office supports social and academic life at Tufts. We help maintain a campus environment of mutual care and respect by offering formal and informal methods for conflict resolution and by promoting the University's Community Standards.
Counseling and Mental Health Service
Counseling and Mental Health Service (CMHS) is Tufts’ counseling service for students. Our team of mental health professionals is here to help you feel mentally and emotionally well.
Dean of Students Office
We are a central resource and can help you out when you’re not sure where to start. We support an inclusive and safe community for all students and promote leadership development in partnership with many other campus offices. Our mission is to help all Tufts thrive in our living and learning community.
Dining
Find out where to eat when you’re at Tufts! Tufts Dining operates 11 on-campus eateries and manages meal plans. They also oversee the JumboCash, Rhino Bucks, and Meal Money programs, which allows students to load funds onto their ID cards to pay for food and more.
Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion (DSDI)
We are a collective of leaders, educators, and most importantly, people looking to serve as a resource for all undergraduate and graduate students interested in thinking about social identities and the ways they impact our lives and our world.
Engineering Dean's Office
The School of Engineering's undergraduate and graduate deans are here to support students, faculty, and staff. As An Engine for Good, our leadership empowers the Tufts engineering community to improve the world through the advancement of science, technology, and engineering.

Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) Dean's Office
The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office supports the vision and strategy of the Graduate Dean and strives to create an intellectually engaging experience for the graduate students. The office interacts with all administrative units that touch graduate students, including academic affairs, admissions, student affairs, and development.
Health and Wellness
Between classes, clubs, homework, and social events, there is a lot to do. We can help make sure you are happily enjoying what Tufts has to offer you in a balanced, healthy way.
Health Service
Health Service is your primary health care site and offers health care services by telehealth and in-person appointments, depending on your health care needs and schedule. We have a lab on site as well as a pharmacy that delivers daily.

Public Safety
We'd like to welcome everyone back to campus for the school year, especially first year and transfer students, and parents of our first year undergraduates. College should be exciting, fun, enriching, and safe, and we're here to work with you from matriculation to commencement on that last point, staying safe and sound.
Registrar
We are the custodian of AS&E undergraduate and graduate student records and facilitate course registration and changes, degree certification, grading, transcripts, enrollment verifications, the Bulletin, transfer of credit and other functions as they relate to the student record.
Residential Life and Learning
Our office oversees all aspects of residential living, including on- and off-campus housing, roommate selection and Fraternity and Sorority Life. In addition, our student and professional staff collaborate with campus partners to create educational and social programming that foster a community of inclusivity, belonging, and learning.
Restorative Practices
With the integration of restorative approaches, Tufts aims to create an environment where connection is a priority, relationships are valued, and conflicts are seen as opportunities for growth and addressed within the community.
StAAR Center
The StAAR Center offers academic support through one-on-one academic coaching, writing consultations, tutoring, study groups and study strategies and discipline specific workshops. Our programs promote engaged, collaborative learning that build on students’ strengths while addressing their concerns and questions.
Student Services
Student Services is the first point of contact bridging academic and administrative functions and services at Tufts. Student Services provides a wide range of support, from guidance on how to pay tuition, apply for financial aid, obtain a transcript, register for classes, and leverages their service center structure in support of other student facing department’s service needs when appropriate. Student Services collaborates with students, families, faculty, staff, and outside agencies to provide accurate and timely information and support of the completion of university transactions, as they relate to their areas of expertise.
Student Support
As educators, we approach our work through the lens of student growth and development. We teach students to navigate challenging situations, understand and evaluate their options, and make decisions aligned with their goals and values. Through their work with us, we aim to help students build the skills, frameworks, and confidence they need to be independent, thoughtful, community-minded citizens.
Tisch Library
Tisch Library and its branches, the Lilly Music Library and the W. Van Alan Clark, Jr. Library at the SMFA, embrace Tufts University's mission wholeheartedly. The goals below provide a framework to more effectively integrate library support into the university's pursuit of its mission.
Undergraduate Orientation
We assist students and families to understand the expectations and opportunities of the Tufts community. We help prepare students for their academic and co-curricular journeys by facilitating an introduction to their peers and to Tufts’ services.
