CMHS offers trainings, workshops, events, and other opportunities to get involved with CMHS and help to create a campus climate of support and care.

Student Mental Health Reps (MHRs), our peer health education group, lead the following non-clinical workshops for students:

  • Introduction to CMHS: An overview of CMHS, our services, and accessing care.
  • Stress Management Workshop: A highly interactive workshop for undergraduate or graduate students that covers the basics of stress, coping strategies, and tips for overcoming procrastination.

Mental Health Reps

The Mental Health Reps (MHRs) are a group of dedicated students who serve as a liaison between CMHS and the student body. The Mental Health Reps work directly with CMHS and Health Promotion staff to help advocate for mental health support, reduce stigma, and promote mental and emotional well-being. They receive training from CMHS and Health Promotion staff and about mental health promotion, and they will have the opportunity to create programming to directly help students at Tufts.

More information about the Mental Health Reps, including contact information, upcoming events, a form to request outreach, and hiring can be found here.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Fair

CMHS and Health Promotion host an annual Mental Health and Wellbeing Fair every year. We’re joined by some of your favorite centers, student groups, and departments for mental health resources, games, activities, free food, raffle prizes, and therapy dogs.

The next Mental Health and Wellbeing Fair will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 in the JCC Atrium. More information will be available on this page soon.
