Engage Tufts GSAS Students for Internships, Co-Ops & Research Projects

We connect employers with master's and PhD candidates for internships, co-ops, project-based assignments, practicums, and research assistantships — short-term, applied engagements across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. This is not a full-time job board.

Not the Career Center. We Focus Exclusively on Experiential Engagements

Tufts GSAS is a separate initiative from general career services. Rather than full-time recruiting, we're dedicated to connecting employers with graduate students for internships, co-ops, project-based work, practicums, and research assistantships, engagements that fit alongside coursework and research.

Why Engage GSAS Students for Applied Work

GSAS trains scholars and practitioners who bring deep disciplinary expertise to focused, time-bound projects.

Built for Applied Work
Programs spanning the humanities, social sciences, and sciences give students strong research, writing, and analytical foundations they can apply to a defined project from day one.

Research-Ready Skills
From data analysis to original scholarship, GSAS students bring project management, critical thinking, research and analysis, independent problem-solving, and AI skills.

Flexible, Term-Based Fit
Engagements can be structured around the academic calendar — semester-long, summer, or part-time alongside coursework — so you get focused effort without a long-term commitment.

Types of Engagements We Support

Every opportunity posted through GSAS generally falls into one of these experiential, non-full-time categories.

Internships
Structured, time-bound roles, during the semester or summer, that give students hands-on exposure to your organization's work.

Co-Ops
Extended, immersive work experiences that let students contribute over a longer term while still enrolled in their program.

Project-Based Assignments
Discrete deliverables, a report, analysis, prototype, or campaign, scoped to a defined timeline and outcome.

Practicums
Applied, supervised experiences that connect academic training directly to professional practice in the field.

Research Assistantships
Support for your organization's research initiatives, drawing on students' advanced analytical and subject-matter expertise
