Notation of Development (NOD)

All PhD and master’s degree students can receive formal recognition for workshop attendance in the form of a "Notation of Development" (NOD) on their transcripts.

In order to receive the NOD, students must attend at least four "Notation Track" workshops before graduating from Tufts. Only workshops with "Notation Track" in the event description are eligible. Students who successfully complete the NOD requirements will receive an award notation on their transcript reading “Completion of the Graduate Professional Development Workshop Series." Students are also encouraged to list the notation on their curriculum vitae or resume.
