Junior and Senior Housing

Juniors and seniors may enjoy living in our apartment-style on-campus options. Continuing undergraduate students may also be eligible for Theme, Special Interest and Identity Housing or Fraternity/Sorority communities. Off-campus housing is also an option after the two-year residency requirement has been satisfied.

Process

  • Rising Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to form a housing group during the application process. Students will not be bound to these students but forming a group by the deadline will ensure that all students in their group will either be issued a lottery number or a waitlist number.
  • Each student within a group must complete their own housing application by the deadline.
  • Rising Juniors and Seniors who are submitting an intent to study abroad will not be eligible for a housing lottery number and will be placed on the housing waitlist.
    • If a student who has submitted an intent to study abroad form is a part of a group - they will be removed before the randomization process runs to determine lottery or waitlist numbers.

Theme, Special Interest, and Identity Housing & Fraternity/Sorority Communities

Theme, Special Interest, and Identity Housing is a separate process from the lottery/waitlist and will run slightly separately. Students wishing to reside in a theme, special interest, or identity-based house should apply through the housing portal by the deadline. Students who are accepted will have their housing assignments finalized before the sophomore housing selection process and will have completed the housing lottery process. Students who have had a lottery number who are offered a placement in theme and special interest housing will have the opportunity to accept the new placement or retain their originally selected placement. Those students who are waitlisted for our general housing application will still have the opportunity to participate in the theme housing communities unless noted as a student intending to study abroad in the following year.

Students who have been accepted into Theme, Special Interest, and Identity Housing or Fraternity/Sorority Communities will be placed in available housing in early spring in order to complete necessary placements for any students who require particular housing accommodations.

After accepting a placement in theme housing or special interest housing completes the housing process for these students, students will be assigned a date/time to select their space in the Housing Portal.

Fraternity & Sorority Housing

Fraternity & Sorority Housing is only available to rising juniors and seniors who are affiliated with the organization.
