Student Organization Trainings and Meetings

Mandatory Fall Meetings

At the start of each academic year student organizations are required to mandatory information meetings. Student organizations not represented at the mandatory fall meetings risk losing budget and space reservation access.

OCL Student Org. Operations Meetings

The Office for Campus Life will be hosting mandatory student organization operations information meetings at the start of the academic year. At least one executive member of each organization is required to attend, however others may attend as well. Two meeting dates/times will be offered, Tuesday September 9 and Wednesday September 10 at 6pm in Braker 001. Organization rep(s) should attend one of the sessions. The Office for Campus Life staff will be discussing event planning, procedures and policies, event registration and Reserve Tufts, as well as over various training opportunities to start your organization's year off with all the necessary information needed. Please come with your questions.  Again, this session is required for all recognized student organizations and department sponsored organizations, including club sports and including non-TCU funded organizations.

TCU Treasury Meetings

The TCU Senate Treasury offers mandatory treasury meetings for all TCU Senate Funded Organizations. Once again, these meetings are required for TCU Senate Funded Organizations Only. This meeting, presented by the TCU Senate Treasurer, details important treasury procedures for the coming year. This meeting is offered twice each fall semester to accommodate schedules. Again, this year there will be two options for meeting dates/times. The Fall 2025 meetings will be held on Tuesday September 9 and Wednesday September 10 at 7 pm in Braker 001.  Both signatories are required to attend one of the meetings. Club Sports, Graduate Organizations, Fraternity and Sorority Organizations, and Department-Sponsored Organizations are NOT required to attend. Sub-groups are not required but encouraged to attend, especially if they use TCU Treasury systems. Organizations that are not funded through the TCU Senate but still have Department IDs and utilize the Campus Life Financial Office, should also attend this meeting.
