Post-Bacc Premed and Studio Art Certificates

Post-Bacc Computer Science and Data Science Certificates
Tuition is billed per credit, based on the number of credits a student takes each semester. Please note that undergraduate and graduate courses are charged at different rates. Visit the SoE Website for tuition information.

Programs Eligible for Federal Aid
Post- Bacc Premed and Post-Bacc Studio Art
For federal financial aid purposes, students enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Premed and Studio Art programs are considered to be taking preparatory coursework to enroll in a graduate program. When completing the FAFSA, students should select “other undergraduate” as their level in school. Dependency status (dependent or independent) is determined according to federal guidelines.
- Dependent students may borrow up to $7,500 for one academic year through the Federal Direct Loan Program. Additionally, parents of dependent students may apply for a Parent PLUS Loan.
- Independent students may borrow up to $12,500 for one academic year through the Federal Direct Loan Program. Independent students are not eligible for any other federal loans.
Per federal regulations, students in these programs may only receive Direct Loans for a two-semester period (one academic year). In order to qualify for federal loans, students must be enrolled at least half-time (6 or more credits per semester).
Post-Bacc Computer Science
For federal financial aid purposes, Post-Baccalaureate Computer Science students are considered enrolled in a graduate program. When completing the FAFSA, students should select “college graduate, professional, or beyond” as their level in school.
Eligible graduate students may borrow up to $20,500 per academic year through the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan Program, provided they are enrolled at least half-time (5 or more credits per semester).
Programs Not Eligible for Federal Aid

Post-Bacc Math
Students in these programs are not currently eligible to borrow federal loans. Students can utilize private loans if needed.
Private Educational Loans
All Post-Bacc students can utilize private loans for additional financing.
