Tufts may be more affordable than you think. Prospective first-year students and families can now (quickly and easily) estimate what their financial aid eligibility and net costs might be and prepare.
Please note that these calculators are intended for use by domestic students (U.S. citizens and permanent residents, and undocumented students with or without DACA status) living in the U.S.
Tufts Tuition Pact
Our Promise: Tuition-Free for Qualifying Families
Beginning with U.S. undergraduates enrolling in Fall 2026, students whose annual family income is under $150,000, with typical assets, will attend Tufts tuition-free.
The Tufts Tuition Pact ensures that financial circumstances don’t define opportunity. It represents Tufts’ deep commitment to access, equity, and affordability, so that cost never stands in the way of potential.

The Tufts Net Price Calculator provides the most detailed and personalized estimate of your potential financial aid and total cost. By entering your full financial information, you’ll see a breakdown of:
- Estimated grant and scholarship aid from Tufts, federal, and state sources
- Expected family contribution (EFC) based on your circumstances
- Your estimated net cost to attend Tufts
