At Tufts Year Round

  • Student Organizations Calendar: List of upcoming events sponsored by Tufts Student Organizations. 
  • Office of Campus Life Information Booth: Discounted AMC movie passes, Charlie Cards, and more!
  • Tufts Tickets: Tufts Tickets is the student organization ticketing system managed by the Office for Campus Life.
  • TUSC Film Series: Tufts Film Series shows 35mm big screen movies (with full distribution rights) over the weekend (Friday, Saturday nights) as a way to bring Tufts students together in a relaxed environment. Most of all, it is free to all members of the Tufts community.
  • The Commons Late Night Dining: The Commons Marketplace Late Night is open on Friday and Saturday between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m.
  • Music Events Calendar: Public concerts and events sponsored by the Tufts Music Department.
  • Athletics: Upcoming games and events sponsored by Tufts University Athletics. 

Around Town

  • Somerville Theater: The Somerville Theater is an independent theater and concert venue in Davis Square featuring movies, live events, special events, and the Museum of Bad Art!
  • Taza Chocolate Tour: Public tours are offered 7 days a week for $6 and depart from the Taza Chocolate Factory Store, 561 Windsor Street, Somerville. Online reservations required.
  • Room Escape Adventures: Room Escape Adventures are team building activities that create scenarios where participants must rely on each other, their ability to communicate and their creative genius to escape a room. Located at 628 Somerville Avenue, Somerville.
  • Assembly Row Somerville: Shopping, restaurants, movie theater and more!

  • Skyzone Trampoline: Sky Zone in Everett, Massachusetts, is a top Boston destination for all ages fun fitness disguised as family entertainment! We are conveniently located 15 minutes by car from downtown Boston and accessible by public transportation (Wellington Stop on the Orange line + 15 walk). We are a five-minute drive from Assembly Square. 
  • The Phoenix Multisport Mission: Phoenix Multisport fosters a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from alcohol and substance abuse and those who choose to live a sober life. Through pursuits such as climbing, hiking, running, strength training, yoga, road/mountain biking, socials and other activities, we seek to help our members develop and maintain the emotional strength they need to stay sober.

Transportation

  • Tufts Shuttles: To Davis Square, SMFA, and Boston Avenue
  • Tufts Safe Ride: The Tufts University Police Department offers a service called the Tufts SafeRide. The service is provided seven days a week, from sunset to sunrise, primarily using a van and/or officers on foot. The SafeRide service is provided between on campus locations, into neighborhoods within the SafeRide service area and to the Davis Square MBTA station when the on campus “Joey” shuttle is not in operation. This free service is open to all members of the Tufts University community.
  • Bikes: Information about Tufts Bike and Hubway rentals, bike maps, and local bike shops.
