Working with global partners, the mission of Tufts Global Education is to provide academically sound, culturally immersive, and linguistically rigorous study-abroad programs, structured with appropriate support, that challenge students to acquire and employ knowledge in new contexts and to expand their perspectives on the world and their own place in it.

Our Commitment to Racial Justice

Tufts Global Education recognizes that institutions of higher learning, as microcosms of our wider society, have historically played a role in perpetuating systemic racism and oppression by centering the intellectual discourses, cultures, and experiences of Whiteness, while structuring student access to academic opportunity asymmetrically along racial lines. We commit to working towards racial, social, and educational justice in global education.
