This includes those enrolled in Arts & Sciences and Engineering, BFA (matriculated after Fall 2017), and five-year Combined Degree SMFA and NEC, BA/BS students. Please select the appropriate page to view the application details.

Combined-degree (bachelor/master) financial aid recipients should apply to the graduate school for scholarships for the fifth year or when the bachelor's degree requirements are completed, whichever comes first.

Students who were admitted to Tufts and deferred their start to take a gap year should follow the instructions for a Regular Decision applicant when they apply for aid for their first year.

Please Note:  If you were admitted to Tufts and did not apply for financial aid, you will not be eligible for institutional aid in subsequent years. If your family experiences an unanticipated change in financial circumstances, you may submit an aid application for review. In some cases, limited funds may be available.

The deadline for currently enrolled undergraduate students to submit the 2022-2023 Financial Aid Application is April 15, 2022 (FAFSA and CSS Profile). IDOC submissions are due May 2, 2022.

If you are an International student who enrolled at Tufts without financial aid as a first-year student, you are not normally eligible for aid in subsequent years at Tufts. An exception may be made if your family experiences an unanticipated change in financial circumstances. In these cases, the CSS Profile is required. Limited funds may be available, and you may apply for an emergency grant or loans. You can find other information on the International Center website.
