Sibling Enrollment: Undergraduate Students
Tufts awards aid based on the information provided by parents on both the FAFSA and the CSS Profile. When more than one sibling will be attending an undergraduate college or university degree program, the family contribution (as determined by our institutional analysis) is divided based on the educational costs expected for that sibling. Graduate students are not included in the number in college calculation for institutional aid purposes.
Your family may need to submit the Sibling Verification Form to provide confirmation of sibling enrollment. If your family is unable to verify enrollment, financial aid will be adjusted accordingly. If the number of your family members enrolled in college decreases in future years, your parents will be expected to contribute a higher amount, and your grant aid may decrease.
