Bárbara Brizuela

The Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences works with faculty colleagues and Arts and Sciences staff to improve faculty governance; to update and refresh the curriculum; to support the new facilities being designed and built; to fulfill the school's commitment to the diversification of the faculty, staff, and student body; and to enhance the research profile of the school through new faculty hires and support of the outstanding scholars and researchers already on staff.

Ayanna Thomas

As Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Ayanna supports all GSAS programs and serves as the liaison between students, faculty, and administration on all aspects of graduate education within the school. This includes key initiatives, such as strengthening the quality and diversity of the graduate student body and integrating career and professional development training into our students’ education.

Scheri Fultineer

As Dean of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts, Scheri oversees all operations at SMFA at Tufts. She works closely with faculty and staff across the university to forge curricular and co-curricular connections between and among artists and other academic practitioners.

Kyongbum Lee

Kyongbum Lee is dean of Tufts University School of Engineering and Karol Family Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.

Karen Panetta

Karen Panetta is the Dean of Graduate Education and a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Camille Lizarríbar

As the Dean of Students and Chief Student Life Officer, Camille Lizarríbar leads student-centered initiatives and oversees student life at the School of Arts and Sciences (including the School of the Museum of Fine Arts) and the School of Engineering.

JoAnn Jack

As Associate Dean, Student Administrative Services, JoAnn is charged with overseeing and continually improving the work and operations of Student Services, the Office of the Registrar, and Information Technology for Admissions. She also works with campus partners to continually improve the student experience at Tufts.

Carmen Lowe

As Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Carmen oversees all academic support and enrichment programs for graduate and undergraduate students in Arts and Sciences and Engineering, including the Associate Deans of Undergraduate Advising for Arts and Sciences, Scholar Development, and Pre-Health Advising.

John O'Keefe

Senior Associate Dean of Academic Advising

John O’Keefe leads a team of advisors who provide holistic academic support to undergraduate students in the School of Engineering. With more than two decades of experience in academic advising, student success, and undergraduate education leadership, he helps students achieve their academic and personal goals, make full use of campus resources, and navigate academic and personal challenges. His responsibilities include helping students with the full range of academic situations and decisions, from choosing a major to coping with difficult personal circumstances. In addition, he leads updates to undergraduate academic policies, degree requirements, and related processes.
