Access Your Student Records and Credentials
Your academic record is housed in our Student Information System (SIS). Current students and alumnae can log into SIS using your Tufts credentials. If you do not know your Tufts credentials you can use Tufts tools to recall or reset.
View Your Unofficial Transcript
You cannot use your unofficial transcript for official purposes, however it can be a valuable tool for reference as it lists your class history, credits, and grades. Here’s how to view it on SIS:
- From the top row of your SIS homepage click on the “Academics” tab.
- Select “Unofficial Transcript".
- Select the appropriate unofficial transcript option from the “Report Type” drop-down list based on your school or program.
- Click “View Report".
- Your unofficial transcript will appear as a PDF in a new window or tab.
- If a new window does not appear, check to make sure a pop-up blocker is not preventing a new window from opening.
View Your Undergraduate Student Degree Audit
Your undergraduate degree audit allows you to track your progress in your academic program by detailing degree requirements and whether you have met those requirements. Here’s how to view it on SIS:
- From the top row of your SIS homepage click on the “Academics” tab.
- Select “Student Degree Audit.” This will automatically generate your advisement report in a new window.
View Your Classes and Grades
It’s easy to use SIS to view your classes and grades. Here’s how:
- From the top row of your SIS homepage click on the “Academics” tab.
- Select “Classes and Grades".
- Use the arrows to scroll through past semesters.
Request an Enrollment Verification
An enrollment verification shows what semesters you have been enrolled at Tufts, your program, expected graduation term, and GPA (if requested). Here’s how to request one:
- From the top row of your SIS homepage click on the “Academics” tab.
- Choose “Enrollment Verification".
- Select “Allow to print from my browser” to print it yourself.
- If you would like your enrollment verification on Tufts letterhead with a signature and seal, choose the “Hold for pickup” or “Request institution to mail” option.
In some cases you may need additional text added to your enrollment verification like your local address or date of birth. You can submit this form to request a verification with these additional details.
Change Your Name
If you would like to change your name on Tufts records, simply bring an original Marriage License, Naturalization Form, or Court Document to Student Services along with a copy of the Name Change Form.
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) grants you:
- Access to your "educational records" (as defined).
- The right to seek to change portions of your records which are incorrect or inaccurate
- The right to limit or prevent disclosure of your records to third parties, except those allowed access by FERPA.
